VEHICLE LEAD ACID BATTERIES

Seaforde Scrap Metals has the capability and authorization to handle lead acid batteries which are classified as Hazardous Waste. All operations are carried out in accordance with the latest government legislation.

Batteries are stored upright on a designated concreted area.

For customers with a large amount of batteries, we can supply bespoke battery boxes to ensure safe handling and transport to our yard. We also offer a collection service for regular suppliers of batteries.

Under the Hazardous Waste Act (1996), all movements of batteries must be documented using Northern Ireland Environment Agency DB notes.

We can supply DB notes for loads of batteries received which means your business is complying with NIEA legislation.
